SD IMC Club - Declining Oil Pressure In Flight

Organized “Hangar Flying” Focused On Building Proficiency In Instrument Flying

About this session

Believing that safety and proficiency are developed through education and experience. Monthly meetings use real world scenarios to engage our members and allow them to share and build their experience.

For the July meeting we will discuss an actual scenario involving an IFR flight that involves declining oil pressure. We'll discuss how seriously to take this and when action is required; for example is the yellow arc okay to fly in? We'll also discuss LAHSO operations as our Question of the Month. Please bring your “Electronic Flight Bag” if you have one (ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, WingX, Go Flight, etc.) loaded with charts for the area to aid in the discussion of the pilots options as well as your thoughts on this topic

You do not need to be a member or instrument rated to attend.
